Last year we got hit with 2 category 5 hurricanes in two weeks which left a mess of down trees and left us without power for months. After that I have been getting a lot of camping gear that serves me in an emergency and this kit is part of that effort.  But I really did not expect this kit to be this solid, the chainsaw is top quality and the fire starter will last a long time. I specially liked that the chainsaw came in its own pouch and the fire starter with a hard case in a rope you can fasten to your gear or hang it as a necklace. 100% recommend if you are outdoorsy or just want to add it to your emergency gear.
