DIY Fabric Face Mask I was searching for a step by step tutorial that was easy enough for beginners yet a breeze to people that know their way around a sewing machine.  I feel this is the perfect way to stay busy at the same time contribute to our first responders by donating however many as you can make and I'm sure they will appreciate them. Now fabric wise, if you are on a town or state on lockdown your choices are limited to what you can find at Wal-Mart, you might have some scrap fabric at home and flat sheets because no body uses those. You could also try a smaller grocery store that specializes in Indian food if you have one in your area. How To Harvest The Gel from Aloe Vera Aloe vera leaves are long and slightly curved with serrated edges. The gel is the thick fleshy part that is between the skin of the leaf. Supplies: aloe vera leaf sharp knife clean airtight container for storing blender or immersion blender clean bowl (if you are using an immersion blender) Directions: Cut the leaf into sections about 8″ long.
